Job Description

Design and construct a highly-functional and attractive website for an SME. The successful candidate will be hired to design a website for a Yoga company. They will need to demonstrate prior experience in constructing a website that looks professional, as well as attractive. The website designer will need to be able to liaise with the company Director to build a bespoke website that accurately reflects the values of the company – and be able to translate the Director’s vision into a professional website.

 

The designer should be adept at conveying potentially complex ideas into simple language – and will be a great communicator.

 

The designer will design, develop, and launch the website. This will include capturing images to use on the website, as well as video. 

 

The designer will need their own equipment – or have access to the equipment needed.

 

The designer will have great imagination and passion for web design.

 

The successful candidate would ideally have their own transport and valid driving license.

 

The candidate should be eligible to work in the UK.

 

The designer will need to be fluent in English.

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in meeting deadlines and working to a high standard under pressure.

 

The candidate will demonstrate the ability to be able to work as part of a team – and will also be effective when working independently.

 

The designer should be able to create a website that can be easily updated and refreshed periodically.

 

The website should be secure and provide adequate means to protect any data held within the website.
