Job Description

Are you looking for a relevant placement to work alongside your degree? Do you like data analysis and making changes to see improvements? If so, then this maybe the opportunity you are looking for.

Smart Recruit Online support over 25,000 UK Recruiters with a unique blend of best in class recruitment technology, tools and processes to aid the delivery of a more efficient and effective direct hire recruitment process. We are also one of the largest Media buyers in the UK, providing recruiters with a massive network of relevant advertising channels for one low-cost fee and assisting with copywriting and keyword optimising techniques, that maximise response rates from every job advert posted.

We have just completed a detailed piece of research and analysis run in partnership with Beds Uni, to establish both fundamental and specific areas for improvement across our website. We are looking for a graduate who specialises in website marketing, design and development and most importantly website optimisation.

Our aim is to develop our marketing website and optimise its performance to reflect the world class product that it represents. The initial report has created a current benchmark and recommended goals that we should aim to achieve.

We have generated a detailed report and a comprehensive list of recommendations to work through.

What will you be doing?

  • Working through the report to implement the suggested changes
  • Optimising our website further
  • Potentially helping to create engaging content and graphics

You will be someone who has

  • Has the ability to translate recommendations into actions
  • Wants to gain relevant experience within a small but rapidly growing business

This is a fabulous opportunity to put your practical skills to the test, working alongside our development team and the academic who wrote the report to help us implement the recommended changes to improve page loading times, bounce rates and other page optimisation issues.

The successful graduate will subsequently have a comprehensive case study demonstrating how they were able to make tangible improvements to key metrics associated with website performance.
