Job Description

We are looking for an Accounts administrator working as part of our small team. The ideal candidate will have experience in an admin/bookkeeping role. The company is looking to take the bookkeeping duties currently completed by our accountant to be completed in house. The company currently doesn’t use any bookkeeping software and needs the ideal candidate to set up and integrate a system using one of the big named software. The role will include: General bookkeeping functions Financial data input – Using Accountancy software Managing accounts payable and receivable Reconciling EU VAT in 7 countries using data from Amazon EU (currently automated but not checked) Reconciling bank account and business charge/credit statements Providing cashflow projections and reports Using our Warehouse Management Software for stock re-ordering, projections and raising purchase orders General Administration tasks Organisational Support as the business requires Filing duties Ensuring insurance policies are kept up to date Stock control and management – Stock take analysis Personal qualities:

The skills required for the position include: Good knowledge and proven experience of using Accounting systems Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, general IT competence Good Communication Skills Ability to work on your initiative as well as taking direction Excellent Command of spoken & written English
