Youth Employment UK are running a Youth Employment Conference that will be held in Birmingham this July. We expect to bring more than 100 people together from the HR community to learn how employers can improve the recruitment experience for young people with barriers to employment.
We are looking for an intern to support the senior team with the planning, logistics and operations for this event.
Duties to include:
. Venue - liaising with the venue team to support areas such as catering, room layout, AV, brand presence etc.
. Workshop presenters and keynote speakers - supporting internal and external colleagues with the development/design of workshops, timings of day, travel arrangements, requirements for presentations, and ensuring that they have everything they need to have a great event.
., Marketing and Communications - supporting our internal team to develop the key content needed to promote the event and making sure everything works for delegates who wish to book on or have access to resources post event. Assist with any marketing requirements for delegate packs, room decoration and signposting.
. Filming and evaluation - support the filming team to capture the event, support with the post event evaluation and write ups.
. General - working closely with the Youth Employment UK team on any required administrative or support tasks to ensure a positive and impactful event.
Good communication skills, including good written skills with good attention to detail.
Excellent planning and project management skills
