Job Description

North27 is an education technology (EdTech) consultancy with a software development team. Over the past few years we have created and developed some innovative products and services for use within the Education sector, primarily for use by schools and trusts in the UK and Ireland but with application the world over. Recent growth means we are looking to expand our team.

Lockdown aside, we fully support remote working. For meetings etc. our office is based out of the Innovation Centre, directly opposite Northampton train station, a few minutes walk away from the town centre. If travelling by car, there is also a park and ride scheme from Sixfields.

North27 is a small and flexible organisation, with a relaxed, results-driven culture that actively seeks to explore innovative new ideas and promotes collaboration wherever possible. Our work is fast-paced, cutting-edge and creative within a startup environment.

North27 are currently supporting online learning for c.50,000 students in the UK and abroad. Pre Covid-19 we were planning to further develop the use of our software to expand on the services that we can provide. This vision hasn't changed, in fact, we have been asked by a number of clients to accelerate this. We would welcome the input of a Data Scientist to review the data we have, look at the merit of what our clients are looking to analyse and help us come up with creative and innovative ways to report and illustrate our findings.


  • Analyse the data we collect to spot patterns and trends.
  • Review the available data to make recommendations for improvements.
  • Help present/visualise the data in the clearest/simplest  way possible.
  • Use ML to make informed predictions.
